Here is an easy to make delicious starter recipe. For this recipe, either homemade or store bought Paneer can be used.

  • 200g Paneer
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Corriander powder
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 2 tsp of curd
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tsp riceflour
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying


Step 1

Cut the Paneer into small sized cubes. If the paneer is little hard, soak them in hot water for 5 –10 minutes. After 10 minutes, drain the excess water and transfer it to a bowl. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well with the paneer cubes. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, curd and mix everything together.

Step 2

Add corn flour and rice flour. Mix everything together so that all the paneer gets coated with the masala. Let it remain for 15 minutes. Heat a tawa and add oil for deep frying. Once it is hot, add the paneer cubes one by one.

Step 3

Fry till all the sides of paneer gets cooked and turn into nice golden brown colour. Transfer it to the plate and serve.
